Tracey Dyson and Tybin Lawson fell in love while working at their part-time jobs during their high school years.
The lovestruck pair would write notes to each other and often mess up an aisle at the chemist they worked at so they could spend the day cleaning it up together.
“I’d ring the register bell and give my note to Tybin and then he would go away and write back,” Tracey remembers, smiling.
“Actually, I used to ring the bell and make up any excuse to talk to him.”
Tybin, now a professional golf player, and Tracey, a merchandise planner at Cotton On, made their almost 10-year relationship official with a romantic sunset proposal.
“Tybin proposed to me after a romantic dinner at one
of our favourite restaurants where we love to sit and watch the sunset over Geelong,” Tracey remembers.
They chose the rustic setting of Mannerim Stables as the perfect place to share their love with 130 of their family and friends.
“We always wanted to have a relaxed wedding where the ceremony and reception was all at the same venue so guests didn’t have to travel during the day,” she says.
Tracey, who exuded beauty in a Tulle & Chantilly gown and sweet floral headpiece, walked down the aisle to Cascada’s Everytime We Touch – a moment she will cherish forever.
“I loved seeing Tybin’s smile after a nervous morning apart,” she says. MADE IT HAPPEN
