RENEE + COREY

Renee Costa isn’t the type to fall victim to bridezilla syndrome.
The laidback Torquay beauty wasn’t interested in wedding stress and admits her marriage to Geelong footballer Corey Enright wouldn’t have happened without his help.
“Corey did most of the organising, he was great,” she says.
Renee, a fashion stylist, and Corey, a three-time premiership player for the Cats, didn’t want too much fuss when it came to their big day in tropical Port Douglas.
“We sent out ‘save the date’ cards 10 months ahead so everyone could save up and we did all of the planning in 10 months,” she says.
The couple was extremely relaxed in the lead-up to their wedding.
“We were on holiday and we had no reason to get stressed,” Renee says.
It was beautiful weather the whole week before the wedding, but on the actual day the skies turned grey.
“Everyone was pretty wet by the end of the reception, but we were all just dancing in the rain so in a way it probably made it all the more memorable,” Renee says, smiling.
“I wouldn’t change one thing about it.”
