DATE TO REMEMBER
Fiona Gregoriou was blessed by her grandfather before marrying Darcy Brown at the first Greek Orthodox Church built in East Melbourne. “It is a Greek tradition and was very emotional and very beautiful,” she remembers of February 12, 2016. The bride, wearing a custom-made dress, was flanked by brother Alex at the ceremony. “He was the greatest brides-man anyone had ever seen,” she says. Towards the end of the love-filled celebration, the newlyweds and 135 guests joined in smashing plates and dancing. “We are complete opposite personalities but seem to be a perfect mix,” Fiona says.
