DATE TO REMEMBER
Trent Bevan sat content in his backyard with new wife Chelsea Shawcross in one arm and their baby son in the other, as 120 guests celebrated around them. “This was the moment,” he says of the big day on March 7, 2015. The couple, who met at church, wed at their home under an old oak tree. They handmade 15 tables and used a World War II cargo drop parachute decorated with fairy lights as a canopy. “Being held by the man I love and can keep forever, swaying gently to a beautiful song our good friend was singing – there could be nothing better,” Chelsea remembers of the first dance.
