Embrace the boho vibe by creating your very own dreamy backdrop for your nuptials. A little patience is needed for this do-it-yourself project but the end result will be worth every moment of effort. The fabulous foliage provides the perfect finishing touch. Our thanks to Nomad Styling for this divine idea

What you will need:
Yarn in three colours
Step 1: Cut long lengths of yarn in your first colour and tie onto dowel in groupings of three pieces. Allow extra length for trimming.
Step 2: When finished, hang the backdrop up (I used a doorframe) . Take your time and trim your design until you are happy with the shape. NOTE: Symmetrical designs need measuring to ensure they are even on both sides.
Step 3: Get your second colour yarn and cut pieces in equal lengths. Using four strands in each grouping, tie these onto the existing pieces in your first colour and cut off any excess after knotting.
Step 4: Repeat ‘Step 3’ with your final colour using five pieces per grouping. Try to make these strands longer than the previous colour. Once finished, trim the bottom to tidy up the ends if necessary.
This backdrop is great on its own, but beautiful foliage
and flowers really complement and enhance the design.
