Ballerinas in bridalwear pirouette across polished floorboards in the natural light-flooded rooms of a grand Geelong property. The beautiful concept of flowing gowns and dancing silhouettes is the vision of photographer Sara Taylor, who encourages couples to personalise their wedding photos. “It is amazing to walk away with images that mean the world to you,” she explains. The models wore Pearls & Roses dresses and were guided by Geelong Ballet Centre director Natalie Horman. Fittingly, the restored property’s name Narbethong is the Indigenous word for “happy place”.
