Veils are one traditional aspect to weddings which have become more optional over the years. Brides are being creative with what they wear on the big day and the latest headwear collection by Newtown milliner Rebecca Share offers some inspiration.
According to Rebecca romance and structured simplicity will be the tone of this year’s spring fashion trends.
Having dressed celebrities including Emma Freedman, Giaan Rooney, Brodie Harper and Livinia Nixon in the past and regular fashions on the field judge during the spring racing carnival, Rebecca Share has just launched her 2016 collection of headwear.
“My millinery style has always been structured and dramatic which has made the current spring headwear trends ideal for me to design for,” Rebecca admits.
“With a focus on manicured leather flower crowns, gold dancing butterfly goddess headbands and wide-brim boater style hats, there’s everything to love about this spring.”
Rebecca allows six weeks to design her entire spring collection and this season there are 40 hats and headpieces.
“Romantic, delicate veilings and simple beaded headbands, the collection is a snapshot of my signature style and only the beginning when it comes to the styles I will create for the season with the majority of my orders being bespoke hats for my private clients.”
“Pastels, metallics and black and white will lead this season’s colour palette.”
