Inspiration can be found anywhere – just ask creative duo The Howling Lotus.
Beautiful photographer Clare Bedford and her clever stylist buddy Alannah McCooke co-ordinated this wedding shoot in a cool pine forest.
The inspiration? A fig.
Yes, the sweet purple and red fruit.
“It really set the theme,” Clare says.
The chill of the pine forest and its rustic wooden and gold textures blended wondrously with purple and cream-hued adornments.
“We imagined this shoot to have a warm, homely feel while being a little bit enchanted,” Clare says.
The dreamy setting, likened to a scene from Europe, also allowed vintage lace detailing to sing.
Clare says the team of suppliers behind the shoot was handpicked from local and regional areas to create and honest story that “you can feel”.
“We are always inspired to blend the magic of people’s stories with trimmings that are handmade, revamped and sourced individually,” she says.
